Dave Mark set two new records in one day at the contest in Ocklawaha Florida...
The first one was the Formula 40 at 164.09mph and the second record was done with his Sport Jet at 149.82mph. The second is a regional record in that event
This was the Akron Circle Burners first official contest and took place at Paradise field in Ocklawaha, Florida. The field is owned by David and Danette Wallick... so thank you to David and Danette for hosting our first official event. |

We have now received the official approval from the FAA to move forward with our plans to construct the flying field. |

We are working with Akron Fulton Airport on our permanent flying facility. We have the okay from the City of Akron to fly at the temporary site behind Derby Downs and we are currently waiting on the FAA's approval to break ground on our permanent site.
